Abortion is wrong in all cases, I've heard about some of these things and i'm not too sure about it, but i have a couple of ideas of what it's about...





Incest, i heard about that on Ripley's believe it or not and you just get born with a birth defect or something, it's still not worth killing the unborn, sort of like kicking someone when their down and out for the night..





the second one, i have no idea what that is...





and to save the life of the mother, well if the child was already dead inside then it's ok, but it's not ok to kill it, maybe remove it if it's already dead but NOT kill itAbortion is the wrong choice except in cases of incest, rape and to save the life of the mother?
It's a massively grey area for morals.





On one hand, you have the life of the baby/foetus/embryo to consider. Does a child in the womb have human rights? If so, when do these rights kick in? From conception? From when a heartbeat can be recognised?





Then on the other, you have the life of the mother to consider. Should she be allowed to choose to terminate a pregnancy? What if the having baby is putting her life in danger?





Personally, although I may not agree with the reasons a woman may adopt when having an abortion, I believe that they all should have the same right to choose whether or not to keep the baby.
I don't like abortion but I don't think that it is wrong. It is the mothers choice. Sometimes you are just not ready to have a child in that case then ok fine. But if you are living a normal life with a job meaning you are out of school! the father is willing to be apart of the child's life and you are really really ready to have a child. There are so many people out there who have children who are really not ready to have the responsibility of taking care of another life. Someone who is doing drugs and partying all night long should not have a child. they don't know how to take care of themselves and are going to harm the child because of what they are doing. Or they will just ignore the child and then it will but harmed. So What i am telling you is that it is wrong but it is not wrong. Because sometimes you cant control the situations you are in. If you are in an abusive relationship would you want to bring a child into that? You need to take care of yourself before you can take care of another living human.


I wouldn't have an abortion unless it was life threatening. A child is something special you know something that is apart of you and is a huge responsibility! If you are not ready to take on that kind of responsibility. Which for someone who is still in school is to be able to go back to school and complete high school at least. The number of drop outs because of teens being pregnant is extremely high. That needs to stop. We wouldnt have this problem if people would have responsible sex.
disagree. i dont think someone should bring a kid into the world if they arent ready to raise it well and properly. also what if the mother didnt know she was pregnant until a month or two in, and had something to drink during the first few months? fetal alcohol syndrome is not something i would want to live with. and thats just one of many ways someone could screw up their kid before birth.





not to mention, to all of the people who are going to mention the Silent Scream video, that was fake and they have actually proven that abortion does not cause any pain or discomfort to an unborn fetus. it's not even developed enough to comprehend that it even exists yet. so i think it is better to prevent it from being born if it's headed toward a horrible life after birth, since it's NOT murder. thumb me down all you want lol, i know my facts and i feel very strongly about this...

Well I personally am glad that Rowe v Wade became law 36 years ago. I think everybody has the right to choose what's best for themselves. Now you can at least go to a medical facility, and not some butcher that calls himself a doctor. Prior to 1973 women got illegal abortions, and many of them died too.


I carried all my pregnancies and have three healthy children, born to parents who were married with careers, that could provide for them.


What about all the young girls who get pregnant, don't want to care for their babies, and hand them off to their own mothers. It can really mess up a family, a life. If you don't believe me, visit a Burn Ward in any Children's Hospital. I'm sure you'll find at least one child that's been burned by the parents. What about when you know in advance that your baby will never lead any kind of normal life do to a serious birth defect?

i agree. Abortion is murdering the child. it is alive and having abortion murders the fetus. i believe however that when a young girl is raped and is pregnant because of the one who did it, the woman will have that reminder of what happened to her. the child wasn't meant to exist to begin with, it wasn't meant to happen. its means of existence are sad and not whats meant to be. why should the woman be left to suffer anymore?
It ain't no one's business except the mom (and the dad if he's around and interested). The mom is the one who knows best whether it's wise to have the kid or not.





And since her decision don't affect no one else, it ain't their business.

I don't agree with abortion because my God! It's a baby we're talking about here. It didn't ask to be conceived.
i agree, but in some communities getting pregnant before marriage is a big shame and that girl will be blamed for all her life time, so in this case i find abortion is a better choice





i believe married people should never do abortion!
i think its wrong except to save the life of the mother. i hate it when people use the hard cases excuse. its like 98% of abortions r for selfishness.

that is my opinion though...i can't tell the mom what to do with her baby of course.
I think that Abortion is wrong unless it saves the life of the mother. All the other ways are taking the soft way out.
