That's why people go to law school for 3 years, to learn how to do it... you have to lay out your entire case, cite the applicable case law that proves your point, and cite specific case rulings to show how other judges have interpreted the statutes.How do u write briefs concerning law cases?
Try this,


Start with the citation ex: State v. Stroud, 345 N.C. 106 (1996)


Then summarize the facts of the case.


Then put issue: what is the court trying to decide relevant to your topic? if you put this question in the form of a yes/no question it makes it easier.


Then holding: which is the answer to the question above.


Finally the rationale: reasons why the court answered the question above the way they did.
